Oliiv was founded on a simple but radical belief:
Extra virgin olive oil is not a commodity — it is one of the most powerful daily wellness and longevity foods available to us.

For decades, olive oil has been reduced to a supermarket staple — blended, anonymous, industrialised. Oliiv exists to restore its true role as nourishment, ritual, and preventative medicine, grown with care for both people and planet.

We work exclusively with small, independent organic and regenerative farmers, paying them above market rates so they can:

  • invest in soil health, biodiversity and long-term land stewardship
  • transition fully away from extractive cooperative systems
  • support neighbouring farmers into organic and regenerative practices

This creates a compounding impact — healthier land, stronger rural communities, better food, and ultimately healthier lives.

With her Italian heritage deeply rooted in Mediterranean traditions, Frankie brings a profound understanding of how food rituals can transform family health and wellbeing. As a therapeutic yoga instructor and holistic wellness expert, she recognized immediately why Oliiv's mission resonated so deeply.

"Growing up in an Italian family, olive oil wasn't just an ingredient—it was the foundation of every meal, every gathering, every moment of connection," Frankie shares.

"I witnessed firsthand how the simple daily ritual of quality olive oil could be the backbone of healthy eating and family bonding."

Chris's journey with olive oil began as a personal quest for better health. After discovering the profound health benefits of extra virgin olive oil, from its powerful polyphenols to its anti-inflammatory properties, he became passionate about incorporating this liquid gold into his daily routine.

But his enthusiasm quickly turned to frustration. Despite olive oil's reputation as a cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet, Chris found it nearly impossible to find high-quality extra virgin olive oil with any transparency about its origins.

"I wanted to know where my olive oil came from, when it was harvested, what the polyphenol count was, and how it was farmed," Chris explains.

"This information should be readily available, but it simply wasn't. Most bottles told me nothing about the story behind the oil."

This gap in the market sparked the idea for Oliiv, a subscription service that would connect conscious consumers with the world's finest artisan producers, complete with full transparency about provenance, harvest dates, polyphenol levels, and sustainable farming methods.
